WebTech Wireless Learns of Alleged Patent Infringement Claim

WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading provider of vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, has learned of a lawsuit filed in Tyler County, Texas, relating to an alleged patent infringement by a number of companies, including WebTech Wireless, of certain patents held by Innovative Global Systems LLC.

WebTech Wireless has not yet been served with the materials relating to the claim, but has performed a preliminary review of the underlying patents and the claim, and believes the allegations to be without merit.

The Company will provide further particulars once available.
