Toshiba Adds a touch of MAGIX

MAGIX, a video editing company, has begun a new relationship with Toshiba, who specialize in innovative media players and camcorders. With it Toshiba will be offering a 30-day trail version of MAGIX Movie Edit Pro with every new ‘Camileo’ full HD camcorder sold in Europe. The new Toshiba camcorders, the Camileo S20, Camileo X100, and Camileo H30 have created a stir with their extensive zoom capacity and stylish design, but also come equipped with an integrated YouTube button which allows for directed content conversion and upload from the device.

These camcorders, with the packaged Movie Edit Pro software, are set to appear in retail stores in the fourth quarter of 2009.

Movie Edit Pro is the best selling video software in Europe, and presents an all-in-one video editing solution. With ease you can match background music and animated menus to transform your personal videos into cinematic experiences. Movie Edit Pro makes it simple to burn your projects onto DVD and Blu-ray discs for the home theater.

"I’m very pleased about this cooperation between MAGIX and Toshiba, since it bundles the most current level of technology in user-friendly camcorders with equally high-tech and user-friendly video-editing software," says Sven Kardelke, Product Manager for MAGIX’s Video category, speaking enthusiastically about the new alliance.
