EA Sports opens its HOME complex

The Playstation HOME now hosts a whole new area thanks to EA Sports where players can meet up and participate together in two activities : racing in a mini formula one circuit or play Texas Hold’Em Poker. Other features include trailers from upcoming videogames and various videos.



The new complex is sure to please many HOME residents, the Playstation 3 exclusive 3D social gaming community. Even though as of now there are only two available activities, several others are planned down the road such as golf. Not only that, but the publisher also wants to introduce rewards for the best poker guys in the near future, among a slew of features directly linked to their videogames portfolio.

“We are extremely proud of the compelling and immersive online offerings that are available at launch for EA SPORTS Complex,” said Rob Burnett, senior producer. “EA SPORTS Complex is a dynamic space and was specifically designed to appeal to not only the hardcore sports fan but casual gamers alike.”
