Walking in a future world, the player is a soldier wearing a special armor of superior technology able of absorbing damage. He will be able to parachute from over 15,000 feet and enter the battlefield without having recourse to conventional processes used in FPSes. Indeed, it is possible to choose exactly where to fall, creating a surprise effect every time. The experience is interactive because defensive systems can perturb this dizzying descent - the player is able to adjust its on-air trajectory accordingly.
Section 8 promises a thorough character customization with modules to boost speed, regeneration or stealth statistics, a ton of weapons (guns, grenades, machine guns, etc.) and the deployment of combat vehicles. As far as the multiplayer is concerned, a maximum of 16 is confirmed for the PS3 and X360 while on the PC, it will be double that number.
