| Disney working on a Toy Story videogame for the Nintendo Wii |
| |
|
Toy Story Mania! is a videogame based on the animated movies starring many colorful characters such as Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head and Slinky Dog. Disney just revealed the existence of this Nintendo Wii exclusive scheduled to release this Fall. It is not linked to Pixar’s Toy Story 3, slated for release on June 18, 2010.

|
Papaya Studio is in charge of Toy Story Mania!, being described as a collection of party games in a big carnival. Most of the animated films characters are represented and playable. As many as four participants can join in the fun anytime with cooperative and competitive modes planned. Among the minigames, there is a shooting gallery that requires 3D glasses.
Let’s not forget the three dimensional re-release of Toy Story and Toy Story 2, which will open in theaters on October 2, 2009 and February 12, 2010 respectively.
"Toy Story Mania! is the first video game to place characters from the “Toy Story” films into a carnival game setting and is expected to resonate with fans of the films and the attraction, as well as gamers who like pick-up-and-play party games. In the game, players experience the fast-paced, zany fun of the Toy Story Mania! theme park attraction, which is an interactive experience requiring 3D glasses and involving rapid or quick-firing shooting galleries."
