Together with 10 Megapixels, a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, Picture Stabilization, High sensitivity up to ISO 1600, Face Detection technology with Auto red eye removal and Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR Auto), the FinePix Z30 will deliver photos that will be perfect to share. All this fun technology is packed in to a very fashionable and compact camera that will demand attention wherever it goes.
Blog mode with 12 "In-Camera" editing functions
There’s no fun in taking pictures if you can’t edit or share them with your friends. For users wanting to share their creative output with a wider audience, the FinePix Z30WP has a new Blog mode with 12 "In-Camera" editing functions. You can easily change the size, color and contrast and use special effects like illustration, painting, or zooming to create cool looking photos that you can quickly and easily upload onto Facebook or other social networking sites. Additionally, In-Camera Movie Editing allows you to shoot multiple videos and then piece them together into a 60 second movie clip. Simply pick the start and end points and you’ve created your own movie. Now that’s creative.
Stylish and Colorful
Having evolved from Fujifilm’s best selling FinePix Z20fd, the FinePix Z30 debuts with a brand new original look. The cool colour scheme, featuring a metallic sliding lens cover with diamond studded "bling" detail, will guarantee to make an impression with your friends. The only decision is what color you want - Pink, Purple, White or Orange.
Quality Features
With High Sensitivity and Low Noise up to ISO 1600, the Z30 lets you capture subjects under low-light conditions to produce extraordinary quality pictures with minimal noise and grain. Picture Stabilization also increases the shutter speed and sensitivity automatically to ensure blur-free pictures.
Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR Auto)
Most compact digital cameras feature scene modes where the user selects the scene they are photographing before they take the shot. The FinePix Z30 is equipped with Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR Auto) technology which cleverly detects a scene automatically without the need to pre-select the mode on the camera. Having identified the most commonly photographed subjects, Fujifilm has developed technology to automatically identify and recognize different scenes - Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait. Once the scene has been detected, the camera will optimize the settings automatically to capture stunning photos everytime.
Couple timer and Group timer
The FinePix Z30 features two NEW self-timer modes: Couple Timer and Group Timer. Working in combination with Face Detection technology, the Couple/Group timer automatically activates the shutter button after the camera has detected faces in a frame. The Couple Timer mode cleverly detects two faces in a frame and automatically release the shutter button as the two faces come closer together. It can be set at various distances, whether they are standing side by side, or cheek-to-cheek. The Group Timer mode can detect up to four faces in a frame and automatically sets the timer to take the shot and will only fire when all faces are fully in the frame, so there’s no danger of anyone being chopped out!
In addition, users can find and select their favorite shot using Microthumbnail View, which displays up to 100 thumb images on the 2.7" High Resolution LCD screen.
The FinePix Z30 is expected to be available to Canadian consumers in April 2009 at a suggested retail price of CDN $199.99. The camera will be available in Pink, Purple, White and Orange with a 2 Year Canadian Manufacturer’s Warranty.
