Fujifilm launches a new entry-level compact camera, succeeding the hugely popular FinePix J10 and J15fd. The FinePix J20 will interest those who see style and the latest innovative features as a priority, yet also appreciate affordability in a point-and-shoot camera. The J20 offers 10 Megapixels, a quality Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, Intelligent Scene Recognition, Face Detection, Picture Stabilization, a high resolution 2.7" LCD screen and a 2 Year Canadian Manufacturer Warranty.

NEW Intelligent Scene Recognition

The FinePix J20 features Intelligent Scene Recognition (SR Auto) technology, allowing users to get the best possible results from their camera. Simply frame the shot and Intelligent Scene Recognition automatically recognizes the scene - Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait - and selects the ideal settings. In addition, Face Detection technology with Auto red-eye removal will identify the faces and optimize the focus and exposure to reveal sharp and bright portraits.

Picture Stabilization

Picture Stabilization increases the camera’s ISO setting and shutter speed automatically, and freezes moving action for blur-free results - perfect for action shots such as kids playing sports.

Stylish Body

All this technology is packed into a super-slim and super-stylish 17.4mm body. Its size means that it can easily fit in a pocket or bag allowing users to carry the camera wherever they go.

The FinePix J20 is expected to be available to Canadian consumers in April 2009 at a suggested retail price of CDN $149.99. The camera will be offered in Silver, Black, Pink and Blue.
