Police to be included in Burnout Paradise

Criterion Games continues its spectacular support for its racing videogame Burnout Paradise (Xbox 360, Playstation 3) with the announcement of a new mode which will be deployed in 2009 after the already known legendary cars, toy cars and boost specials packs. The Playstation Blog (blog.us.playstation.com) mentions this new pack is called ’’Cops and Robbers’’ without revealing further details.

Judging how Burnout 2 dealth with this in the past, one team will be playing the cops and will have to stop by all means another team strong with robbers - by destroying their cars. The developer gained popularity over its competitors by releasing a huge number of features all available for download online, enchancing the basic experience and presented mostly free of charge.

The latest one is called Burnout Party Pack and fixes the impossibility to play with up to eight players on the same television by adding a ’’pass the controller’’ mode. It is available online for $9.99 US or with the complete game and all its 2008 packs for $29.99 US. This is the first premium content the company released for Burnout Paradise.
