Atlus announces Devil Summoner 2

The countdown is over on Atlus’ official website (www.atlus.com). The mysterious picture is now replaced by an official announcement about the role-playing game Devil Summoner 2 in North America - another title for the Playstation 2, who just refuses to die. Atlus is known around the world to bring very niche games in the northen-american market, especially role-playings titles otherwise stuck in Japan.



The latest to be translated is none other than Shin Megami Tensei : Devil Summoner 2 : Raidou Kuzunoha versus King Abaddon. The player discovers a 1920s Tokyo as demon summoner Raidou Kuzunoha in his fight against the evil King Abaddon. This sequel to Devil Summoner, judged way better than the original, adds the possibility to summon two demons at once during a fight for maximum damage.

The release date for this little gem is set to May 12 2009. Beware though because quantities will be extremely limited due to the fact every single copy will be bundled with an awesome Raidou plush for the suggested price of $39.99 US.
