Role-playing game Mario & Luigi 3 will soon be released in Japan. This production developed for the Nintendo DS portable console stars some of the most famous characters in the Mario Bros. series in a crazy storyline. Still scheduled for February 11 2009 in Japan, Mario & Luigi 3 won’t just feature the two mustached plumbers as main characters but also their eternal nemesis, Bowser.



Nintendo confirms this difference won’t bring down the gameplay, which is still very balanced between humor and seriousness. The player will have to discover why citizens of the mushroom kingdom are being hit by a curious illness. North America still does not have any official release date for this game other than a vague 2009.
