Websense Online Renewal Center — This new offering streamlines the renewal sales process through use of an online renewal notification and tracking system that enables partners to manage their subscription renewal opportunities for 50 users and below more proactively, efficiently and with increased flexibility. Partners using the new Websense Online Renewal Center will receive notifications and be able to view their renewal pipeline 30, 60 and 90 days prior to the customer’s subscription expiration. Unlike other competitive online renewal offerings, the new Websense Online Renewal Center is a free resource that allows partners to easily brand reports and customer communications regarding renewal activity. Enhanced Deal Registration — Designed to protect and enhance Websense channel partners’ margins, this offering rewards partners with financial incentives for the pre-sales investment associated with securing new sales opportunities in targeted market segments. Under the enhanced deal registration offering partners can earn higher margins on standard and non-standard new business deals. (Planned availability February 1, 2009)
Solution Provider Locator — As part of ongoing enhancements to the Websense Web site, this new online channel partner locator will help North American customers find a Websense authorized solution provider within their area through an interactive online map and search application platform. (Planned availability mid-February 2009)

Websense welcomes more than 150 North American Channel Partners to San Diego
The Websense 2009 Partner Conference is being held January 14 - 16 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego. During the North American conference Websense is set to showcase its enhanced deal registration offering, online renewal service and partner locator. Attending channel partners will also get a sneak peek at the company’s 2009 product roadmap which includes a number of innovations to its existing secure Web gateway, hosted security and data leak prevention solutions.
Numerous Websense executives, including the company’s Chief Executive Officer Gene Hodges, President Doug Wride and Chief Technology Officer Dan Hubbard are taking center stage to provide partners with insight on a variety of topics. This will include an overview of the Websense vision, key priorities, partner initiatives, strategic insight on the state of security, and best practices for building a stronger business and successfully selling Websense security solutions.
On day two, attendees will participate in a number of informative roundtables and breakouts — all of which have been divided into business, sales and technical tracks led by the Websense team, customers and industry influencers. The conference will conclude with a first-class Awards Gala which will recognize channel partners who have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence in select categories such as new business, sales, technical certification and overall commitment to Websense.
