Sonic and the Black Knight screens

The sweet and blue hedgehog might not have the same impact as when the Genesis / Super Nintendo war raged on, it’s still a well-known mascot in the videogaming world. This character driven by super speed is preparing to rebuild the image of the series with The Black Knight.



Not to be confused with The Dark Knight (Batman) movie, Sonic and the Black Knight is a platforming and action game developed solely for the Nintendo Wii. The story follows what happenned since Secret Rings : the hedgehog is now transported into King Arthur era where he will obtain his chance to become a knight. That said, our hero now uses a sword to attack. Created by Sonic Team, this game uses the unique system controls and will launch during spring 2009.
