Duke Nukem Forever : the never ending wait

It’s time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I’m all out of gum. So are the fans waiting for the return of Duke Nukem, a character many videogames fans grew with in the 90s. Two screenshots. That’s all developer 3D Realms dare to share with its fans for Duke Nukem Forever, announced in April 1997.

Since then, its status has many times been associated with a myth (vaporware) and not reality. Information about it are pretty scarce if not from the fact it is probably developed on PC and maybe, really emphasing that word, on consoles. Like it’s always the case with this game, better not get our hopes up. The original (3D) version is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. -
