The Open Text web content management system allows employees from across the company to create, edit and approve web content before it goes live on the website. Baxi Group’s marketing departments are now able to take complete control of all online output and messaging, which will reduce the cost and time associated with outsourcing web management to third-party agencies.
Baxi Group worked closely with RedDot, Open Text’s Web Solutions Group, a dedicated team of web solution experts, and Open Text business partner Freestyle Interactive, which helped with the design, build, hosting and implementation of the new website, incorporating the latest web technologies from Open Text.
Luke Vanhegan, Group IT Development Manager at Baxi Group, said: "For a brand-led organization like Baxi Group, our online offering needs to accurately reflect our visions and corporate identity. The new-look website will not only enhance the way our organization communicates with consumers, installers, suppliers and specifiers, but will also dramatically change the way we approach managing our online content."
He continued: "Using Freestyle to design and execute the websites in the Open Text environment has worked very well for us. Our partnership with Freestyle and Open Text will enable us to develop our online strategy in greater depth across the Group."
Andy Bellinger, Country Manager for RedDot in the UK commented: "We are delighted that Baxi Group has chosen Open Text’s RedDot as its preferred web content management partner. Companies are increasingly looking for rapid, affordable and dynamic ways of delivering their corporate communications and messaging across their global websites and we are confident that the new system will immediately transform the way Baxi Group does business."
