As months fly by, the first-person shooter Resistance 2, an exclusive Playstation 3 title, is being polished more and more. Nathan Hale and the Chimera from space will engage in a bloody battle on a known battlefield... America. Insomniac Games must deliver a very solid package with Resistance 2, edited by Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA). The game takes place in a 1953 America invaded by extra-terrestrial monsters, the Chimera, who have only one objective : destroy humanity.

The production is going very well, with the support of an online cooperative mode for up to 8 players at once in a story based off the main solo campaign. Players will have to upgrade their armors and other pieces of equipment as they progress, taking into account one of the three classes they chose at the beginning.

Resistance 2 will be home to epic 60 players battle online, all balanced by a squad-like setup which is similar to what Killzone 2 will offer in 2009. Fans will be able to sign up at www.MyResistance.net and track all their stats, but also a growing community. Resistance 2 is awaited for November 2008.
