Burnout Paradise from developer Criterion gets digital

The fifth Burnout, named Burnout Paradise, is the most recent racing game that goes against every driving rules by developer Criterion. Its Playstation 3 version will soon benefit from an all new way of distribution. Available in stores since January 2008, the racing game Burnout Paradise for the Playstation 3 will go digital this Automn according to an official announcement by Electronic Arts. This is a first for the console.

This electronic version won’t look bad either since it has all the same features compared to the Blu-Ray one, except that it has been patched with all the available updates on the network (bikes, day/night, etc.). Burnout Paradise on the Playstation Store (PSN) will be offered for 29,99$ US. -

Keiji Inafune, the original MegaMan designer, has participated to the development of this game. As a last surprise, it will feature online leaderboards for the score and time in each level.
