Some of the highly anticipated Microsoft titles currently in development that are using Havok products include Fable 2, Halo Wars, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, plus a number of additional games. Havok has been used in several Microsoft triple A titles including Halo 3, Halo 2, Scene It? Lights Camera Action, and Age of Empires III. Microsoft has been licensing Havok products since 2001.
Unveiled at GDC 2008, Havok Cloth and Havok Destruction are Havok’s latest product offerings that make physics technology available to artists, synchronizing art and game development for more efficient game development. Havok recently offered its core physics software — Havok 5.5 — for PC non-commercial download for no charge this May, giving its Triple-A physics technology to game developers of all sizes.
