Images of Killzone 2

German developer Guerrilla Games, in charge of the first-person shooter Killzone 2 for the Playstation 3, frees some new images from its ambitious project. Presented at the Sony’s Gamer Day 2008, Killzone 2 still managed to shine from its overall quality. In this second entry of the series (not counting the PSP entry), the player finds himself on the Helghast planet, an enemy race for humans.



He is in control of the ISA infantry which has only one goal : to eliminate this growing threat. The release date for Killzone 2 has finally been announced ; it has been delayed to February 2009, while most specialists were betting for an Automn release. The reason why Sony moved the release date is to not have two of its biggest products released in the same season, since Resistance 2, another FPS, will be released next Automn.
