Mafia 2 back on the saddle

The sequel to Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven has been announced since August the 21th 2007 at Leipzig, in Germany. Not many screenshots have been made available afterwards, it is thus necessary to welcome these new ones with a lot of happiness - they are worth it. Mafia 2, like its predecessor made available on PC, Playstation 2 and Xbox, is a videogame of the historical type which takes place in the 1950s.



The player moves inside a big and fictionnal city named Empire City, and must accomplish a variety of jobs in order to elevate its rank in a mafia family. The open-ended structure of it all has been compared many times to another important franchise called Grand Theft Auto. This entry in the series is being developed by 2K Czech and is destined to the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately, no release date is avaiable as of now.
