10 New Channels Added to MTS TV

MTS TV, the digital television service offered by MTS Allstream Inc., offers 10 new channels to its already impressive television entertainment line-up. Over 78,000 MTS TV customers now have the power to choose from over 25 theme groups that include more than 250 channels, which allows them to get more of what they want at no extra charge.

New channels added to the MTS TV line-up include:

-  Headline News (Prime Time Theme Group - Channel 108) offers TV that moves to the tempo of daily life, with essential news and updates throughout the day and thought-provoking conversations about stories and issues in the evening.

-  Cosmopolitan TV (Life Theme Group - Channel 136) is the hot spot for women with a passion for men, sex and style. Be entertained by the sassy line-up of shows that include Sex and the City, sizzling Hollywood movies, and red hot reality series like The Bachelor.

-  CP24 (News Theme Group - Channel 143) is Toronto’s only 24-hour local news channel that provides nine simultaneous and continuous streams of information to meet the demands of today’s most sophisticated news viewer.

-  NASA TV (Family Theme Group - Channel 157) delivers real-time coverage of NASA activities and missions. Tune in for educational programming, a look at the early years of NASA, special updates on space shuttle missions, earth views from the shuttle, and more.

-  TELETOON Retro (Movie Picks Theme Group - Channel 235) is a nostalgic throwback to favourites of the past and delivers new laughs with familiar friends as Canada’s only channel dedicated exclusively to classic cartoons.

-  Superstation WGN (Movie Flicks Theme Group - Channel 245) is a leading general entertainment network that delivers a winning lineup of year-round sports, one of Hollywood’s biggest movie libraries, award-winning comedies and powerhouse original programming.

-  E! Everything Entertainment (Cinema Theme Group - Channel 261) is the ultimate destination for Canadian entertainment fans. E! offers the primetime entertainment viewers love and brings them the stories behind the shows, the characters and the stars they want to know more about.

-  BITE (Medley Theme Group - Channel 322) is for the technorati who seeks instant gratification. A true multi-platform network fuelled by irreverent, edgy and thrilling short form content, BITE is your entertainment playground with award winning animations, cutting-edge Indie films and non-traditional TV shows.

-  Setanta International Sports Pak (Additional Choice - Channel 521) delivers the very best European and international soccer, world-class rugby and other exclusive sports programming designed to meet the growing demands of international sports fans living in North America.

-  MTS TV FreeView Channel (Basic Service Group - Channel 30) provides free previews of great channels available on MTS TV 24 hours a day.
