After much anticipation, Sony has announced that the new PlayStation 4 will be released on February 20. The timing of this release is optimal: the PS4 will be on the market following the release of Nintendo’s Wii U and before the chaos of Microsoft’s new Xbox. There is speculation that the graphic features on the new PS4 will be of much higher quality than the previous models, and that there will be a new emphasis on social gaming.
The sequel to one of the most acclaimed and liked real-time strategy (RTS) videogame, Starcraft, is slowly preparing to invade our machines after a wait of several long years. Click for new images to ease this wound.
Starcraft revolutionized its kind in 1998. The developers at Blizzard, who know have many more successes under their belt like World of Warcraft and its 10 millions subscribers, hope to create something as good as the original after all these years without a sequel (not counting the expansion Brood War). Many things changed over this decade, what will be changed in the sequel? Its designers desire to keep the soul of the first entry and create ‘the ultimate competitive real-time strategy (RTS) game’.
