A new release of Soleus software available in the second quarter of 2008 will enable device makers to build handsets that leverage 3G networks for advanced data services. In the fourth quarter of 2008, another Soleus software release will contain support for touch interfaces and other advanced user interface (UI) and application development environment enhancements, allowing customers to cost effectively develop innovative handsets and support applications with touch based UI’s. Prototype versions of the new capabilities will be demonstrated in meeting room 4.7HS01 at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, February 11-14, 2008.
