The Oracle Academic Initiative (OAI) today announced the addition of the Oracle Applications product line to its program offerings. This addition will round out OAI’s current Oracle 10g software curriculum, further ensuring that colleges and universities have access to the latest, most industry-relevant software to help prepare students for the demands of the 21st century marketplace.

OAI was established in 1998 to help educators deliver state-of-the-art Oracle software and curriculum resources to college and university classrooms. OAI forms partnerships with higher education institutions to offer a curriculum that helps students acquire vital information technology skills and access to the Oracle certification pathway as part of a broader program of study. The addition of Oracle Applications to OAI will provide educators worldwide with a comprehensive offering, including:

  A choice of one of the following applications product packages: Oracle’s JD Edwards, JD Edwards World, Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise;
  Oracle Premier Support Package;
  Access to Oracle University curriculum at discounted prices; and a
  50 percent discount on select Oracle University events.
