Bell debuts exclusive Samsung u740TM Double-Flip device

Bell announced the exclusive launch of the Samsung u740 Double-Flip, a high-speed mobile device featuring a QWERTY keypad and dual screens for fast e-mail, text messaging and Windows Live instant messaging. Designed to let clients text friends, family and colleagues as easily as they can talk, the Double-Flip dual hinge opens in portrait mode for phone calls and converts to landscape mode for messaging. And Canadians like to text - according to the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), we now send more than 21.5 million text messages every day.

Operating on Canada’s fastest high speed mobile data network also means the Samsung u740 can take easily take advantage of Bell’s catalogue of full-track songs - the largest mobile music library in Canada - SIRIUS Satellite Radio, mobile movies, TV and the Internet. The Double-Flip is available for $149.95 with a three-year contract, with a limited time offer of an additional $30 off until Aug. 31.
