NEXON Co., Ltd., a worldwide leader in free-to-play online games, is announcing the open beta launch of “The Grinns Tale,” Nexon’s newest Facebook game. Now available to all Facebook users, “The Grinns Tale” is an exciting role-playing game with detailed strategy features that takes place in a charming, gothic art-styled fantasy land.

Developed by Nexon’s in-house social game team, “The Grinns Tale” immerses players in a highly-stylized world with an imposing and mysterious tower filled with a variety of fearsome monsters. Players battle their ways up the tower to obtain items, riches and accolades. To take on this challenge, players can choose from six different classes to populate their party of Grinns. Classes include ranged archers and magical clerics that can be played and customized as female or male characters. Customizations include hair, clothing, and additional decorative elements such as facepaint.

Players can also build houses and, after accumulating enough resources, create a town populated with Grinns that will work to provide the supplies and gear needed to complete adventures. The towns in “The Grinns Tale” can be customized and decorated with roads, trees, walls and fences, as well as different types of crops players can farm. Additionally, the level of Happiness a town reaches helps to unlock different buildings and other rewards. Cuddly Fuzzlehorn pets help bring Happiness to a player’s town, and players are encouraged to have their townsfolk interact with the Fuzzlehorns, as well as build decorative items throughout the community.

Combat requires simple point-and-click action, but strategy and teamwork from a player’s party provide an intense and exciting battle experience. Inviting Facebook friends along in “The Grinns Tale” adventures is easy and will make for a more immersive and enjoyable experience for players.
