GuestLogix celebrates a decade of pioneering onboard retail innovation for the global airline industry

GuestLogix, a global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, marked a major milestone as the Company celebrated its 10th Anniversary. Founded in 2002 by Tom Douramakos and Brett Proud, along with a core team of product and software developers, GuestLogix has expanded significantly since its beginning as a Canadian technology startup. Since that time, the Company has established itself as a pioneer of the onboard retail revolution through its innovative technology solutions for the global airline industry.

"Over the past decade, GuestLogix has proven its strength as the leading processor of ancillary revenue transactions for the passenger travel industry," said Tom Douramakos, President and CEO of GuestLogix. "The first 10 years have been an incredible journey, but the best is yet to come. We anticipate even greater things in the years ahead as we expand our footprint, enter new markets and introduce new technology offerings."

In 2007, the Company’s shares began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. Three years later, GuestLogix graduated to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange. In 2009, GuestLogix hosted its first annual user conference for its global airline customers and partners to learn about the latest ’buying in the sky’ innovations. And in 2011, the Company strengthened its position by establishing Regional Headquarters in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Today, GuestLogix employs more than 100 people.

Ten years ago, GuestLogix introduced a revolutionary approach to onboard retailing by offering the global airline industry innovative technology to help grow ancillary revenues, enhance the passenger travel experience and build brand loyalty.
