ION SHIPS GO PAD Portable PC Game Controller

ION, a company specialized in consumer audio and entertainment technology, is now shipping GO PAD, a portable, folding PC game controller with Asteroids, the arcade classic by Atari. ION unveiled GO PAD at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada this past January.

The ION GO PAD is a folding, fully functional game-pad designed for the gamer on the go. This controller is great for throwing in a purse, briefcase or backpack and makes a great companion to a netbook or laptop computer. Students, travelers and commuters will all appreciate the portability of GO PAD, which allows them to play their favorite games when on the road without compromise.

GO PAD has a two-axis directional-pad, four action buttons, four shoulder buttons and turbo on/off buttons to take full control of the gaming experience. GO PAD connects to both Mac and PC computers with plug-and-play USB, which requires no software-driver installation. GO PAD is compatible with most arcade style games and includes a PC version of the all-time Atari classic, Asteroids.
