| Canadian Media Leaders to Give Feature Panel at Banff 2011 |

Principal executives from Canada’s major broadcast media companies will come together for an unprecedented panel to launch Banff 2011this June. Confirmed participants include Phil Lind, Vice Chairman, Rogers Communications; Paul Robertson, Group Vice President, Broadcasting and President, Shaw Media; Kevin Crull, COO, CTVglobemedia; Kirstine Stewart, Executive Vice President, English Services, CBC; and John Riley, President, Astral Television Networks.

The panel will be moderated by Gordon Pitts, Senior Reporter for The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business. The participating executives will speak to the issues they find most pressing for today’s media ecosystem in addition to fielding questions submitted online. BANFF has invited interested delegates to submit questions for the Media Leaders panel via Twitter (@BanffMedia) or on the Banff World Media Festival Facebook page. Selected questions will be posed to the executives during the panel.
