Kobo Wireless eReader Now Available at Future Shop

The Kobo Wireless eReader is now available at all Future Shop retail locations and at Futureshop.ca and offers exceptional value and style priced at just $149 and available in three colours (Onyx, Pearlized Lilac and Metallic Silver). Consumers purchasing through in-store or online are also backed by Future Shop’s Lowest Price Guarantee: should a customer find the Kobo Wireless eReader advertised for a lower price by another Canadian retailer, Future Shop will beat it by 10 per cent of the difference.

Future Shop, Canada’s largest retailer and etailer of consumer electronics joins a growing list of retailers, such as Best Buy Canada and Indigo Books and Music to carry the reading device. With the Kobo Wireless eReader, consumers can now shop on the go, anytime, anyplace, directly from their Kobo eReader with one touch of the "Shop" button. Offering choice of more than 2.2 million books, newspapers and magazines, and including unlimited, free access to Bell’s Wi-Fi network, finding the perfect read is easy with Kobo.

Designed for booklovers by booklovers, the Kobo Wireless eReader features an eInk screen that reads like print on paper and is easy on the eyes, and is light and compact enough to comfortably carry in a jacket pocket. Kobo also offers free eReading apps so customers can buy an eBook once and read it on their computer (PC or Mac), today’s hottest smartphones (iPhone, Blackberry and Android), and the latest tablets - such as iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab.
