Canadian online comedy series Moderation Town named ’Digital Launch Pad Winner’ by NAPTE and nextMedia

The Canadian online comedy series Moderation Town is the winner of the nextMEDIA Digital Launch Pad at the annual NATPE Conference & Exhibition in Miami, Florida. The web-series was selected by an expert panel of digital industry leaders from among a showcase of five finalists chosen as representing the most cutting edge online content, web platforms and tech solutions available on the web.

"We could not be more pleased that our judges chose to honor Moderation Town with this Launch Pad nod," said Jory Groberman, Executive Director of nextMEDIA. "The show combines a novel concept, polished production, and a savvy online strategy to really show the potential of the web-series format."

"Obviously we’re thrilled to see Moderation Town gaining support through the Digital Launch Pad," Evan Jones, Partner at Stitch Media, the producer of Moderation Town. "In a single forum we were able to get in front of four major agencies who saw the potential in our first few episodes. We’re excited about the exposure and we’re already booking follow up meetings to see how this will match with brands. "

Moderation Town follows the lives of residents of a small Maritime town who turn to the internet content moderation business after the local factory closes down.
