Ayogo Games 2010 Digital Hot List Winner at nextMEDIA

nextMEDIA Toronto unveiled the 2010 Digital Hot List winner, Ayogo Games, revealed at the nextMEDIA conference taking place November 29th - 30th at the Design Exchange in Toronto. Judges for this year’s program included Quizative Inc, Proximity, Lowe Roche, henderson bas, Dashboard, Taxi, Trapeze, Rethink, Maclaren McCann, Tribal DDB, Rogers Digital, Canwest and Transcontinental Media.

“We had a broad array of very talented Canadian companies and properties this year, which made it difficult to pick a winner - each one was so different,” says Matt Di Paola of Proximity Canada, who sat on the judging panel. “Ultimately, the Digital Hot List is about identifying emerging opportunities - being ahead of the curve, and leveraging the power and interactivity of technology in a new and unique way. As Ayogo brings a trend of gamification and micro-transactions to the real world, and in a manner that brands can partner with, it was the clear winner.”

“The Digital Hot List looks for the next generation in entertainment, apps and gaming,” says Jory Groberman, executive producer of nextMEDIA. “Ayogo represents the best and brightest, of the hottest and newest ventures in the digital media industry, and we’re delighted with their win. We wish them to the best of luck in their growth and success.”
