Rogers and Samsung Mobile debut the Highly Anticipated Galaxy S Captivate

The Samsung Galaxy S Captivate smartphone is available to Canadians exclusively through Rogers. Designed to enhance the customers’ visual experience, the Android 2.1 powered device brings mobile communication to the next level with its stunning 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 5.0 megapixel camera with HD video recording, sleek design and super fast 1GHz processor.


The Samsung Galaxy S Captivate features one of the best high definition screens on a smartphone in North America. Serving as the nerve centre of the device, the Super AMOLED screen offers unprecedented picture quality even in the harshest lighting conditions, perfect for viewing your favourite TV shows and videos anytime, anywhere.

The Samsung Galaxy S Captivate is packed full of features that enhance users’ daily life including 16GB internal memory and expandable memory by 32GB microSDcard, a 5.0 megapixel camera/camcorder with auto-focus and HD video recording, MP3 player, 3.5 millimetre headphone jack and expandable memory for photos, videos and music up to 32GB.
