The "Made for Mobile" Contest followed the release of Adobe Flash Player 10.1, which allows games built using Flash technology to be played on the Android mobile platform. This contest served to showcase the innovative new gaming options that are available to Android mobile phone users.

"Flash Player 10.1 allows developers to unleash their creativity as they seek to build games that can now be played across screens including smartphones, tablets and other devices," said Jennifer Taylor, senior director, Product Management, Flash Platform at Adobe.
