Panasonic’s Lumix TZ10 with Built in GPS

Panasonic’s new line of cameras features some of the latest technological advances in digital camera photography, including 12x Optical Zoom, HD movie with audio, built in GPS, Intelligent Resolution Technology and Optical Image Stabilization. The compact frame of the Lumix-TZ10 provides a convenient travel-size camera with a number of features that can adapt to a wide-range of shooting needs. The "Travel Zoom" series features a 12.1-megapixel camera that is sure to capture memories in high-resolution quality.

New in this camera is a Built-in GPS feature that codes each picture or video with the location each image was taken, and allows you to organize your pictures by location - providing an easy reference for the jet-set traveler. With this GPS you’ll never get your holidays mixed up again. The HD video feature is paired with Dolby Stereo sound, and, when used in conjunction with the software provided with the camera, videos can be easily burned to a DVD or uploaded to YouTube.

Standard in the Lumix cameras is the Intelligent Auto mode feature, which includes the Power Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) offering twice the shake-suppression power previously available. The OIS feature reduces blur when taking pictures from an unsteady platform or while using the 12x-optical zoom. The OIS compensates for low-frequency vibrations and ensures quality pictures under a variety of shooting situations.

For the photographer who likes to adjust things manually, the Lumix TZ10 also offers a manual exposure mode that allows creative photographers to adjust shutter speed and aperture to specific degrees - allowing a functionality similar to SLR cameras.

The features of the Lumix TZ10 also include the brand new, high-speed, high-performance Venus Engine HD II that provides an ultra-responsive, fast operation in either still or movie settings. The Intelligent Resolution feature offers higher quality signal processing with superior results. The Intelligent Resolution feature detects outlines, detailed texture and soft gradation areas - enhancing the image for superior definition, precise detail and superior noise reduction. The overall result of the Intelligent Resolution feature is a clear, crisp picture in both photo and video recording.

An advanced lens design provides an ultra-wide-angle lens that is the equivalent to a 35mm camera’s 25-300mm range. The advanced lens design is perfect for portraits and landscapes, making the Lumix TZ10 ideal for travel. When paired with the 12x Optical Zoom the ultra-wide-angle lens makes this camera especially suited for capturing far away objects. The Lumix TZ10’s advanced design provides two ED lenses and two aspherical lenses with three aspherical surfaces, providing exceptional optical performance and versatility.

The Lumix TZ10 also provides all of the features that one would expect from a quality Panasonic camera: Face detection, Intelligent Exposure (which continually checks ambient light levels) and an Intelligent Scene Selector which automatically selects the most appropriate mode available (Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, Night Scenery, and the newly added Sunset Mode.) All these features are parts of the new Intelligent Auto technology. Panasonic has also added a new mode, the "Happy Mode" which optimizes color, saturation and brightness to capture photos and videos with exceptionally vivid and true-to-life color.

The superior features of the Lumix TZ10 make this camera suitable for travelers and hobbyists of all levels. The features of the Lumix TZ10 take the guess-work out of capturing memorable moments, and ensure that you’ll get great pictures time after time. By ensuring that you’ll get crisp, clear photos and videos every time, Panasonic provides a quality product that allows you to stop worrying about whether your photos are going to turn out, and start enjoying yourself whether at home or on-the-road.
