The industry has seen the scope of gaming experiences evolve to include more connected social games and independently produced titles. The GDC 2011 advisory board has been expanded to address these areas and welcomes a slate of new members including Dan Fiden, (GM, Playfish San Francisco), Adam Saltsman (Co-Founder, Semi Secret Software ), Soren Johnson (Lead Designer and Programmer, EA Maxis),Siobhan Reddy (Studio Director, Media Molecule), Steve Theodore (Technical Art Director, Undead Labs) and Scott Selfon (Lead Program Manager, Microsoft). These new members join industry veterans such as Dave Perry (Gaika.com), Mark Cerny (Cerny Games), Chris Hecker (definition six), Rob Pardo (Blizzard Entertainment), Julien Merceron (Square Enix), among others on the advisory board.
