Mochi Media Launches Mobile Flash Games Website Using Adobe Flash Player 10.1

Mochi Media has launched of an optimized mobile site of Adobe Flash games for the Android mobile platform. The site will utilize Adobe Flash Player 10.1 to allow Flash games to be played on the Android mobile platform. The site, m.mochigames.com will feature more than 25 games and will be available upon the release of Google’s next version of Android ("FroYo") phones. The site features mobile-optimized versions of puzzle game Biomass, card game Magic Towers Solitaire and strategy game Wheekling, as well as other puzzle, strategy and shooter games.

"The introduction of Flash to Android will open up a world of opportunity for Flash game developers," said Jameson Hsu, co-founder and CEO of Mochi Media Mochi Media. "Through Mochi Media’s mobile site, our developer community will now have access to a whole new audience of gamers through the medium of mobile. We’re extremely excited about the great things to come, both for Mochi Media, and also its developer community."

It’s expected that more than 50 percent of smartphones (approximately 250 million cumulatively) will support Flash Player by the end of 2012 providing developers and designers the ability to deliver innovation across the broadest reach of devices.
